We believe that our faith in Jesus is never a straight line. Life today is so challenging. That is why we move up and down. But the key is to always move forward. As we follow Jesus we will have mountain top highs. But we will also experience the lows of the valley. As we either celebrate or suffer, we were designed to never be alone.

ORIGIN STORY: FIRE FROM HEAVEN
On February 22, 2021, the Holy Spirit called John and Becky Teter to plant Holy Faith Fellowship. The apostolic call began with God sending fire from heaven. Literally. Twice (in a ten day period). 5000 Pies is Holy Faith Fellowship’s award-winning social enterprise restaurant. Becky began focused prayer against dark neighbor businesses: a meth lab and an idol worship center. God heard the prayers, and for the sake of His name, He sent fire from heaven. The meth lab was burned out three weeks (February 10) after prayer began. The meth cookers (who watched way too much ‘Breaking Bad’ fled the scene.
Ten days after the first fire, a space heater spark burned out the idols (February 20). Only God’s enemies were burnt out, while 5000 Pies was protected.The LBFD captain was bewildered and said that there had not been an incident in 34 years on this property, but now there were two fires in ten days. He asked, “Pastor John, what is going on?” Reverend Teter told him, “Captain Smith, my wife Becky and her prayer team are praying!” The captain joked, “Please remind me to never get on the wrong side of your wife!”
God sent fire from heaven to not only burn out His enemies, but to ignite a new gospel fire in the Teter family. A few short months later, it became clear that God was calling the Teters to plant one more church. Let’s go!
