HOW THE CHURCH BEGAN

The church began in Acts 2 with a Holy Spirit sonic boom, 120 tongues of fire and a fiery first sermon from Peter. The Word went forth and the Holy Spirit convicted 3,000 to become disciples of Jesus. But the greatest miracle of all was the new community that God was forming. Luke writes that the Jerusalem disciples were devoted to four things. Our church is praying to be full of the Holy Spirit that we might also be devoted to those four same faith components:
1. Teaching - Weekly jury-room style Bible study
2. Prayers - Praying with and for each other every week
3. Fellowship - Encourage one another in this crazy life
4. Meals - Eating meal/s with glad and generous hearts
And it certainly doesn’t hurt that Holy Faith Fellowship has Chef Mike and Pastor Becky anchoring our award-winning social enterprise restaurant: 5000 Pies!

LIFE TOGETHER

Did you know the first problem in the Bible was loneliness (Genesis 2:18)? The author David Thoreau wrote 'So many today live their lives in a quiet desperation'. And it seems people are getting lonelier by the day.
God solved the loneliness issue for Adam in one day. In the same way today, Jesus, our Great Physician (Matt 9:12), heals us through relationship inside the Trinity, and in relationships each other. We were never meant to live life alone. At Holy Faith Fellowship we live life together with our mid-week Church Family Night anchoring our Life Group strategy.

FOOD & GENEROUS HEARTS

In Luke's Gospel, food is almost its own character in the ministry of Jesus. So much of Jesus' teaching and training happens at the table, over food. Every week we break bread together and get to know each other over a wonderful meal. Chef Mike and the 5000 Pies staff love to create meals just to be enjoyed at Life Group. You can come hungry and leave satisfied.
