HOW PAUL BECAME PAUL
What is the most important church in the Bible? We believe it is the church at Antioch (Acts 11:19-31; 13:1-3) for three reasons. First, it was the first truly multi-ethnic church, full of Jews and Gentlies. Second, Antioch is where church planting began. And most importantly, the church at Antioch is where Barnabas personally recruited Saul and intensively mentored him for apostolic ministry.
The apostolic mentoring ministry of Barnabas is an inspiration to all apostolic leaders. Barnabas is well known for pouring into two leaders: John Mark and the former persecutor, Saul. If Barnabas did not mentor those men we would have to delete 2/3 of the New Testament. We invest in the few to reach the masses.

DEVELOPING URBAN APOSTLES
After serving for five years as the Director of Church Planting for the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination, Pastor John formed Antioch in 2015. The vision of Antioch is to intensively mentor urban apostles who are planting new churches in inner-city hoods and overseas cities.
Pastor John is one of Dr. J. Robert Clinton’s 18 ‘Legacy Disciples.’ Bobby entrusted his life’s work of leadership emergence theory to John and gave him the charge: “Make leaders!” We are confident that the apostles who spend time in Antioch will be transformed and encouraged to be counted among the 33% of Christian leaders who finish well.

ANTIOCH LEADERSHIP
Antioch is the church planting wing of Holy Faith Fellowship. Our church is committed to not only making disciples but also planting churches in hard ministry environments. Antioch has a separate annual budget and a leadership team that has served together since 2016. Our goal is to plant 60 churches in America and around the world by 2040. We thank God for the following leaders and the unique gifts they use for the cause of developing urban apostles.
